Standing in Agreement for Health and Prosperity

Dear friend,

We recently returned from a great family Thanksgiving celebration and speaking engagement in West Virginia. We had partners drive from Maryland, Washington, D.C. and North Carolina, as well as several other areas in Virginia and West Virginia to be part of this special time of worship and BSU update at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. The Lord is truly uniting believers from every walk of life. 

I believe you enjoyed a most blessed Thanksgiving too and are now looking forward to the Christmas season with renewed energy and strength. This is also a busy time of year and many people are standing in agreement to overcome flu and cold symptoms. That’s why my wife, Kellie Copeland Swisher, encouraged me to write this brief note to you today, as we stand together for health in mind, body and spirit. 

I invite all of us to take a few minutes and agree together for health, wholeness and prosperity in every area of life. Recently, Brother Copeland declared “open season on the flu.”  Much like many parts of our nation observes deer season, turkey season or dove season, so together in faith we declare flu season is in effect.    

Join me and thousands of our BSU partners across the nation in standing on these scriptures: 

Isaiah 53:5—“By His stripes we are healed.” (New King James Version)

1 Peter 2:24—“…that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” (NKJV)

Matthew 8:16-17—“He...healed all who were sick…‘He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.’” (NKJV)

Take five minutes each day and stand on these powerful scriptures from the Word of God and pray for yourself, your family and friends, as well as all of our partners. My family and I stand in agreement with you for protection from flu and cold symptoms, and for complete healing and restoration from any type of malady attempting to make its way into your life.

Pray with me: 

Lord Jesus, You have made us overcomers by the power of Your love, healing and resurrection power. We declare open season on the flu and any other issue trying to stop us from fulfilling the plan You have for our lives this day. We speak complete healing, total restoration and blessing over ourselves and all of our family members and partners in this moment. I speak protection and healing over each one now in Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
