Faith for Today—Hope for Tomorrow
November 4th, 2008
Dear friend,
Welcome to Election Day in America. For the last two years, campaigns have been leading up to this historic moment.
Pray and Take Action
I ask you to join our KCM team in proactively doing two things today:
- PRAY 2 Chronicles 7:14 with us now:
Dear Lord, we, Your people, who are called by Your name, humble ourselves as we bow before You. Together we pray for the United States of America, and we earnestly seek Your face and direction. Together as a BSU team, nearly 25,000 persons strong, we set our faith in agreement knowing that You will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
- VOTE!
If you didn’t vote early, today is the day! If you’re not sure of voting locations, contact your local county clerks’ office or the office of your states’ secretary of state.
John Hancock, the president of our Continental Congress said, “I beseech you not only to pray but to act.” Be sure to let your voices and beliefs be made known today.
Remember, no matter what happens in the city, county, state or national elections tonight, God is in control of our future.
Blessings to you! And remember, JESUS IS LORD!
