Happy National Day of Prayer
May 06, 2010
Dear BSU Partners,
Happy National Day of Prayer. This is a significant day
to pray and to stand up for freedom in our Nation. The truth
is no governmental agency or court can stop us from praying.
We must realize that and stand strong for our rights and then
exercise the right to pray…everyday. The time has past
for Christians to be intimidated. We are standing up with
one mighty voice saying enough is enough. Thank you for taking
a stand with us.
I also want to thank you partners very much for your response
to my e-mail last week to the Council members in Hawaii. Those
e-mails are making a difference. I received a call from one
of the Council members asking that we include the entire City
Council on our list and encourage each of them to stand up
for the right to pray at their meetings.
This is a great way to celebrate the National Day of Prayer…by
encouraging City Council members to say Yes
to the right to pray. Please join me in writing an e-mail
to the following members. Be sure to let them know if you
live in Hawaii.
1) Councilman Donovan M. Dela Cruz dmdelacruz@honolulu.gov
2) Ikaika Anderson ianderson@honolulu.gov
3) Charles Djou cdjou@honolulu.gov
4) Ann Kobayashi akobayashi@honolulu.gov
5) Rod Tam rtam@honolulu.gov
6) Romy Cachola rcachola@honolulu.gov
7) Nestor Garcia ngarcia@honolulu.gov
Thank you for standing up for prayer on this special day.
Also a big thank you to our friends at the American Family
Association for coming alongside of us and alerting their
partners in Hawaii to stand with us on this important issue.
We send blessings to the AFA and appreciate the strong partnership
we share.
Blessings to you and remember,
JESUS IS LORD!
