An Important Election

Dear Believers Stand United Partners,
We have just 28 days until the next major election in the
United States. It’s called the mid term election because
the President and Vice-President are not running but nearly
half of the U.S. Senate, several state Governors and all of
the members of the United States House of Representatives
are campaigning for office.
There are a few crucial things we must be aware of, as Christians,
prior to entering the ballot box:
1) Who is running for office in your district and state
and where is your polling place? You can contact the office
of your states Secretary of State if you don't know.
2) What are the issues that the candidates stand for
or against and how does that measure up with your core beliefs?
3) Are they committed to listening to you as their constituent?
4) Will they commit to the founding principles upon which
our Nation was based such as Faith, Trust and Loyalty to America?
Once you established the answers to the above questions…then
remember your Vote and Voice are your Seed. Our friend, Dr.
Oral Roberts used to say…”your offering is not
a debt you owe but a seed you sow.” We should approach
our involvement and participation in the electoral process
of our Country in the same way. Yes, your vote is your seed
that you sow in faithfulness to God. And as you Vote you are
taking your stand along with millions of other Americans throughout
history who have wanted to improve this Nation we call home.
My family joins in prayer with you that together we will
all make a statement of faith and power on November 2, 2010.
