Candlelight
Prayer Vigil
February 22, 2011
Dear BSU Partners,
I just received a call from one of our partners in
Hawaii asking us to support a prayer vigil that Christians
are doing in Honolulu tonight at 7:00pm. As you know
Hawaii has been facing several issues of note including
prayer before its legislative sessions and the issue
of legalizing civil unions just to name two.
For our partners and friends in Hawaii we encourage you to attend this prayer event. For the rest of us across America let’s join our faith with the team in the Islands in praying for the State of Hawaii tonight as well as our entire Nation.
Please include these in your prayers that night:
1) Pray for
Governor Abercrombie and our State Legislators
2) Pray for the
protection of our children and our families
3) Pray for the
righteousness of Hawaii
4) Pray for the
strength of the Church in the Islands
If you live in Hawaii please plan to attend. For the
rest of us across the United States let’s join
with our sisters and brothers in Faith and Prayer.
